We value your experience, you see for us it's not about having the biggest adverts in Motorcycle News, and supplying bikes on a "one hit" basis. The truth is we don't see a motorcycle as a "Fire and Forget" product at all. We want to build a long-standing relationship with our customers and offer years of quality and consistent service and value.'

Our History

Born in June 1980 5-WAYS Motorcycles opened its doors to establish Hull's first 100% Yamaha Motorcycle dealership. Owned by Husband and wife team Frank and Lesley Robinson the original premises were located on Askew Avenue just off the well known "Fiveways" roundabout in Hull.

Initial success was built on the ethos of supplying motorcycles and scooters with fantastic savings from manufacturer RRP's, but with the customer service of a friendly family-owned company. The 1980's saw volume sales for both Yamaha and 5-WAYS with models like the now legendary FS1E and iconic RD ranges

The 1990's started with the exciting development of new premises on Walton Street in Hull opposite the KC stadium. Based on the original site of Ken Blakeys Motorcycles - a Hull delaership where scooters and motorcycles had been sold since the early 1940's. Frank designed and quite literally built the new 5000sqft showrooms and workshops.
Opened in late June 1990 and now named Fiveways Motorcycle Centre, new standards were set in motorcycle retailing and the motorcycling press declared the premises "The Best in the North of England"

5-WAYS continue to trade from the Walton street premises and have invested heavily and extensively modernised and redeveloped the building over the last 30 years to create a store with an incredible choice of motorcycles and scooters from 4 of the Worlds leading brands. Many modern dealerships only stock one brand, but 5-WAYS to continue the buck the trend and offer customers a wide and varied selction

The Walton Street store boasts an extensive Clothing and Accessories department stocking brands from some of the worlds leading manufacturers including RST, Alpinestars, Halvarssons, AGV, Shoei, Oxford, Akrapovic, Yoshimura, and many more.

Our founder Frank Robinson 1948 - 2016

Frank and Lesley Robinson opened 5-Ways Motorcycles in 1980 and have been well-respected figures in the motorcycle industry for over 40 years. Frank was a true professional in every sense of the word and always had time for customers new and old.

Frank's first love was motorcycles. He collected and renovated classics, rode bikes and attended bike meets all over the world. He first visited the Isle of Man TT at the age of 16 and he continued to attend for over 50 years. He truly loved the island and it became a place very close to his heart. Frank had a very keen eye for detail and only the best was good enough.

Tragically on Friday 3rd June 2016, Frank was involved in an accident on the Isle of Man and passed away. Frank was 5-WAYS founder and Managing Director, devoted husband to Mum Lesley, Dad to Gareth, Tim and sister Holly, and doting grandpa to his seven loving grandchildren.

Frank will never be forgotten and the store continues today with the same beliefs he started it with. We still have that keen eye for detail and we always do our utmost to make every customer feel appreciated and happy.

Fiveways Motorcycle Centre Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Fiveways Motorcycle Centre Ltd to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
