direct to 999 crash detection for all new and existing TrakKING users

This week has the announcement of a new option of direct to 999 crash detection for all new and existing TrakKING and TrakKING Adventure customers.

Under a licensing agreement with crash detection specialist Realsafe Technologies Ltd., the smartphone apps for TrakKING and TrakKING Adventure will be updated later this week to include the REALsafe® technology, which utilises multiple sensors in the smartphone to detect if a rider has a crash. The app will then automatically notify the emergency services who can send an ambulance to the riders last known location.

Trakking users will have the option to subscribe to the potentially lifesaving service for just £3.00 per month in addition to their existing monitoring subscription.

With e-call now being mandatory in all new model car introductions and the release of dedicated crash detection products, this is an area which is gaining public focus and will surely become more important to consumers when choosing motorcycling accessories.

The addition of fully integrated, direct to 999 crash detection puts the Datatool TrakKING and TrakKING Adventure products ahead of the market and provides all new and existing customers with an important safety add on at a very low cost. No other tracking product has a crash detection solution providing direct access to the emergency services.
