Demo rides at 5-Ways

5-Ways appreciate that choosing the right bike can sometimes be a tricky decision. Do you follow your heart or your head? We hope that making a comprehensive range of demo bikes available to you makes the process, not only easier, but more enjoyable too.

If you'd like to arrange a test ride, you'll need to meet our insurers criteria and make an appointment for your ride. You'll need to provide both parts of your driving licence when you come in (which can't have excessive motoring convitions on, sorry). And that's it, so just give us a call and lets get it sorted for you.

The Route

We dont insist, but to help you experience the bike on some of our better local roads we recomend the following route. It takes approx 30-40 minutes and gives you a taste of inner city, faster dual carriageway and some nice twisties. It also ensures the bike could be easily recovered should any issues arise.

The Criteria

The Loan Bike rider must::

• Have held an applicable UK Motorcycle license for at least 12 months and have both parts present.

• As additional ID, have a valid UK passport or Valid Debit Card or Valid Credit Card.

• Have no endorsements other than 1 SP30 or 1 SP40. (ie have no more than 5 points)

• Have not been convicted of any criminal offence.

• Not have been involved in more than 1 motoring accident or claim during the previous 3 years.

• Not have any prosecution pending for any criminal offence (except for the road traffic offences of parking,or speeding on one    occasion with no previous convictions)

• Be aged over 25 and less than 75 years of age.

• Be leaving a vehicle with us.

• Have been shown and completed our ‘Loan bike indemnity form'

If you can't meet our insurers criteria for any reason, then why not give this company a try. They can arrange a days insurance cover for one of our bikes.
